The Castle of Indolence by JamesWinslett The Castle of Indolence by JamesWinslett
A pleasing Land of Drowsy-hed it was:
Of Dreams that wave before the half-shut Eye;
And of gay Castles in the Clouds that pass,
For ever flushing round a Summer-Sky

The Castle of Indolence, James Thomson

A view of the 15th Century Palazzo d'Avalos as it overlooks the Adriatic coastline. Taken from the city walls of Vasto, Chieti on a beautiful late summer afternoon.

Beautiful! The fact that the greener looks like it has overcomed part of the castle really adds the history to it.
Your balance, lighten and focus is fantastic! Nicely done <3

I agree that the buildings really feel like they're part of the landscape :)

This must've been so serene, not only taking a picture of it but also getting to experience the view.

Nice job!
